International Seminar March 4-15th, 2024
Our traditional two-week International Seminar was held at our school on March 4-15, 2024, with the theme “Value from Waste – Circular Economy”. This year we had a record number, more than 120 participants, from 13 European (the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Denmark, and Hungary) partner schools.
The program of the seminar weeks included lectures, workshops, getting to know Helsinki, visits and activities together with Business College Helsinki students. The actual seminar took place on March 6, 2024. After the seminar, students from different countries, worked together in a workshop, discussing about sustainably. Business College teachers had the opportunity to network with the visiting teachers over coffee. We were privileged to have lecturers from Globe Hope, Infinited Fiber, Metsä Group, Restaurant Nolla, Sitra and to visit waste treatment center in Ämmässuo.
Our guests’ favourite programme was a forest trip to Nuuksio National Park in lovely sunny weather. Also, a day trip to Tallinn is one of the most liked activities from year after year. Business College Helsinki is very grateful for this long tradition of international seminars. Many thanks to all our guests, companies, lecturers and our staff who made this possible.
