Our QB student Anna Yurova shared her first impressions of Sao Paulo and Finncham Brazil as a Marketing Intern.

My name is Anna Yurova, and I am currently studying Business at Business College Helsinki, with a focus on international business and marketing. With a keen interest in gaining practical experience in the field of international business, I decided to apply for a Marketing Internship at FinnCham Brazil. Securing this opportunity was a significant achievement for me, as it provided the chance to explore a new market compared to Finland and expand my professional horizons.
 
Upon receiving the acceptance letter from FinnCham Brazil, I eagerly prepared myself for this valuable experience, emotionally invested in the process of collecting the required documents for the visa application.
 
In São Paulo, my role as a marketing intern involves diverse responsibilities, including event management, creation of marketing materials, administration of the LinkedIn profile and website, and CRM administration. Being part of the FinnCham Brazil team has exposed me to various events, with one recent event focusing on the development of artificial intelligence. It was immensely gratifying to witness the success of our hard work, as the event received excellent feedback from the audience.
 
Furthermore, participating in working meetings and events provided me with the opportunity to engage with representatives from renowned Finnish companies such as Nokia, Valmet, and Wärtsilä. These interactions allowed me to discuss the development prospects of these companies from both Brazilian and Finnish perspectives, enriching my understanding of international business dynamics.
 
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to intern at FinnCham Brazil, and I am confident that this experience will play a pivotal role in shaping my future endeavors in the field of international business.
