We will meet in the city of Helsinki and raise a glass for all of us and for the reunion of EBBD family. Meet us at Gate21, Annankatu 21. at 7pm onwards. Drinks at own cost but great company free of charge.

Suomenlinna Sea Fortress is a cultural treasure and an UNESCO heritage site. It is situated on a group of islands off Helsinki. Suomenlinna was built during the Swedish era as a maritime fortresss and a base for the Archipelago Fleet. Work on the fortress began in 1748.

Suomenlinna is accessible only by water. A ferry service runs from the Market Square (Kauppatori) to Suomenlinna throughout the year. EBBD guests will meet at Market Square at 17.10 and the ferry to Suomenlinna leaves at 17.20. Travelling time is about 15 minutes. You can use same HSL AB-ticket as for any other travelling inside Helsinki. Please have ticket purchased before entering the ferry.

For the dinner we have reserved restaurant Bastion Bistro which is located only a short walk from the island’s main ferry pier, in a unique former infantry barracks built in 1892. We will walk to the restaurant together.

Dinner starts at 18.00 and includes starters, main course, dessert, and drinks. After dinner there is a possibility for Finnish sauna. We will go to sauna in two shifts, women and men separately. Towels are to be found at the saunas. In the meanwhile, there will be free networking, music and fun program for those not in the sauna.

Ferries back from Suomenlinna leave at 21.20, 22.00 or 23.00.

Join us for a very Finnish activity – a small trip to woods. We will be heading to Kuusijärvi where you can take a walk around lake Kuusijärvi, go to various kinds of saunas and swim in the lake. We will serve snacks and do a little barbeque with great Finnish sausages. This will be 100% fun times in a private space rented just us.

Bring your swimsuit and towel! Flip flops or swimming shoes also recommended.

Guided City Tour. Starting at 11.30 at the Railway Station by the main entrance (Kaivokatu) where you see the two stonemen holding lamps.

Lunch option together at 13.30 at Modern Art Museum Kiasma.
