Join us at the International Seminar 2025 as we explore the impact of social media on society, business, and personal life. Event Instructions


Staff get together in Uunisaari Wednesday 10th of March at 18.00

Address: Pohjoinen Uunisaari, 00140 Helsinki 
You can take tram number 3 to Neitsytpolku and then walk a short distance approximately 10 minutes to reach the island of Uunisaari. There is a bridge to get to the island. At 6pm we will be served a typical Finnish salmon soup with bread and a dessert. After dinner we will have sauna waiting for us. We will have separate slot for women and men. Each have 1 hour to go to sauna and swim in the sea. The sea water temperature is approximately +1 celcius. 

What should you bring? 

  • A towel, swimsuit, socks or swimming shoes and gloves and a warm beanie.  
  • If you only plan to go to sauna, then just a towel is enough. 

Welcome to Biitsi Helsinki Monday 10th March at 16.00 – 18.00

We are excited to have you here! To ensure smooth arrival and great experience, please follow these instructions carefully:

📍 Getting to Biitsi 15.50-16.20

  • You will arrive at Mall of Tripla (Pasila Station) from your city orientation. Take the escalator up to the station lobby. Look for people holding BC signs.  
  • They will quide you to the outdoor elevator located right from main entrance on the Mall of Tripla’s Pasilansilta side.
  • Head right from the entrance toward yellow DOWNUNDER sign/adverisement. Our team will be waiting for you by the elevators and will guide you to Biitsi (beach) at P4 level.
  • If you get lost, call the number 044 775 56472 / Sanna.

👕 What to Wear & Bring

  • Wear sportswear – shorts, t-shirt, and bring a change of clothes if needed.  (Temperature 26 °C)
  • Biitsi is indoor beach volleyball, so you’ll be barefoot in the sand! In the area either barefoot or with sandals.
  • Bring a water bottle, but you may not bring your own food or other drinks into Biitsi.
  • Lockers are available for your belongings. (2-3 person per locker)
  • There is a possibility to take a shower.

📌 Activity Stations

  • You will be divided into small groups at different stations. Each station has specific tasks related to beach sports and teamwork activities. For example, small games in groups and hanging out with friends and of course beach volleyball.
  • Instructions will be given upon arrival, and our team will assist you throughout. We hope you will inform us in advance about the students who will be playing volleyball. Please take into account the number of people per court. Registrations for serious competition and casual play will be considered in the order they are received.
  • There are 3 volleyball courts: 1 for serious competition and 2 for casual play 🏐🔥
  • One of the small games is Mölkky, an exciting and fun traditional Finnish game!

     Important 

  • If a student does not want to be filmed, they must inform the photographer themselves.
  • On the casual volleyball courts, there are 8 players on the court and 8 substitutes per side, totaling 64 players.
  • On the competitive court, there are 6 players on the court and 6 substitutes per side, totaling 24 players.
  • Up to 21 students get the chance to take part in Finnish traditional game Mölkky.
